Good Morning gals! This year is all about cultivating joy for me.. I want to be joyful, find joy, and spread joy.
Realistically, at least for me, our yearly goals are normally forgotten by March. Which is super annoying by December right? So this year I invested in my goals (and life..) and purchased Lara Casey’s Powersheets. Honestly, I do not know where I first heard about these bad boys, but once I did.. I knew it needed to be in my life. Anyone else act like they are organized in life but in reality aren’t? Yeah, me too. One of my goals is to actually be organized this year, and these are totally helping.
Anyways, these Powersheets are totally worth the cost. Lara and her team release the yearly Intentional Goal Planner around November and they sell out so quickly! Unfortunately, the yearly planner is sold out, but she is taking Pre-Orders for the six month planners now! You would receive them by June!
In the beginning of the planner, you answer TONS of different questions about the previous year, what you love and want to change about your life, and plan your goals for the year. Since this is my first year of using Powersheets, I did not take “prep week” very seriously so I was still finalizing goals and questions by the time January rolled around. Next year, I definitely will be more prepared since I know what to expect! Here is a fabulous link for all things Powersheets.
Each month you fill out the same worksheet, and then for each season, you have a refresher of your goals and different aspects of your life.
I am so excited to see what these powersheets are going to do with my life this year. So far, I have totally enjoyed them. Answering each question with a pure heart and allowing yourself to let go of worries… crazy of the things you can do! They allow me to hold myself accountable to each and every goal I set, while allowing me to enjoy the journey along the way.
A common question when purchasing the Intentional Goal Planner is.. Do I need another planner too? Answer: Yes. The Powersheets are focused on achieving your goals, but the planner does not have a monthly or weekly spread for your daily tasks.
Since you need another daily planner… I am introducing you to my favorite, The Simplified Planner by Emily Ley. Yes, the author of the amazzzzing Grace, Not Perfection. This is going to sound funny but.. It totally simplifies my life because it is simple. No crazy colours or unnecessary boxes. It is simplified to make our lives simple and organized. Emily is such a wonderful lady so purchasing her products is a no brainer.
I have the daily, January 2017 – December 2017.. Each weekday has its own page and the weekends share. At the bottom of each page, their is a notes box and dinner box for meal planning.
Yes, my planner is covered in gold foil pineapples and monogramed. #obviously
How are you keeping your life organized this year?
XO,
Nicole
