Okay, friends.. today is the day, well tomorrow really, that I have been blogging for one year! Wow. I am so amazed/proud/happy/all of the things about this day! Throughout my 24 years of life, I started a lot of blogs. But last November, I finally told myself I would do it seriously and do it right. And I am so glad I did.

Running a blog cannot be done by one person, and I would NOT be here one year later if it was not for all of the help I’ve received from my parents and Jackson! And a special shoutout to Meg for helping me with my SEO stuff! lol 🙂 However, the one person that keeps me coming back, week after week.. is YOU.

I really would NOT be here one year later if it was not for you and all of your continued support. I am so grateful for you! When I don’t know what to write or feel like I just “don’t have enough time”… I think of you. You are the person that keeps me going on those tough days! & when I see you IRL {in real life} and you tell me how you love reading my blog each week.. it means SO much. I might not have 10,000 readers or followers on Instagram {yet!!}, but I truly do not need that. All I need is YOU! 😉

The one thing I enjoy most about running this little world of mine is all of the wonderful ladies I have gotten to meet over the past year. If I never took the leap, I would have never met all of my fellow blogger babes. These ladies are absolutely amazing and from all over the world! The support we all give each other is unbelievable.

The blogging world is not easy, but it is 100% worth it.

ASTR Lace Midi Dress // Grey Faux Fur Coat {$68} – hello ruby

When I had the idea of this shoot for my ‘One Year’ post.. I thought it would be SO easy to take photos with a number balloon. Unfortunately, I forgot about a little thing called wind. Y’all this was a sight to see!! haha! Thankfully, it actually turned out pretty well! I do however have some pretty funny bloopers! 🙂 Even though we had some cray wind, this ASTR lace midi dress paired with my faux fur coat from hello ruby, made it all better! You can find this fur coat at hello ruby’s storefront in Aksarben Village or shoot her an email! You NEED it for winter! Finally, The lace midi dress runs a bit small so make sure to size up! This look will be perfect for the upcoming holiday season and since this dress has thin straps, it will look great in the spring/summer too! #WeddingSeason
