First, I want to say that it is probably a good thing we don’t live in Orlando, because I would just want to walk around the Riviera #alldayeveryday. And visit Topolino’s Terrace all of the time! To learn about our stay at the Riviera, click here!
During our last stay at the Riviera, we visited Topolino’s Terrace.. twice! They offer a character breakfast and a dinner, so we obviously had to hit up both! Today, we are going to chat about the character breakfast!
The biggest reason you should make a reservation at Topolino’s Terrace during your next trip is the characters, duh! We have been to a few character breakfasts, and I would say this one was the best. The food was delicious and the characters, so cute. I love their stylish looks at the Riviera! Right now, with the pandemic, character breakfasts look a little different. Tables are separated to keep everyone physically distance and you are not able to hug or chat with the characters. They do stop quickly (like really quick) for you to grab a photo, but that is it. I do think you are able to see them more since they aren’t stopping at each table, and they are coming out more frequently.
Pro tip: When you check-in for your reservation, request an outside table. As in, near the window! You will get a view and be able to get better photos of the characters!
Let’s chat about the food… it was delightful. It is a prix fixe menu that starts with pastries (that are amazingly delicious!). Adults are $42.00 and children are $27.00. For your drinks, cocktails are extra, but coffee and juice is included! Your pastries arrive in a paint bucket and are a mix of muffins and croissants that I am still dreaming about. From there, you can pick anything on the menu, and you can have as much as you want. To view the entire menu, click here! We did the two eggs any style with a side of waffles. I was a little sad that I just got regular waffles, so make sure to specifically ask for the mickey waffles! Honestly, I am a pastries gal so I could just eat those the entire time, but the food was delicious and worth it price.
Pro tip: Make sure to order more pastries once you are done with your first bucket! If you don’t finish your next serving, you can take them to go and BAM! Morning breakfast for the next few days.
Something that makes Topolino’s Terrace unique is the view! You can’t get a better one. Okay, well I’m sure you can somewhere else in the world (like Paris), but the view you get to experience when at Topolino’s Terrace is amazing. I cannot wait to visit post-COVID-19 and hang out on balcony with a nice cold beverage!
Is a pre-pandemic character breakfast better? Yes, because who doesn’t want to wrap their arms around Minnie Mouse for a big hug. However, a pandemic character breakfast is still worth the price, in my opinion. Not being able to hug Daisy was a little sad, but the magic is still there. And to be completely honest, just being able to see them up close again was good enough for me.

Nicole
